Opt-in is automatic. When a customer adds your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, they receive push notifications as part of the install — no separate opt-in step, no legal compliance infrastructure required on your end. Unlike SMS, which requires TCPA-compliant opt-in processes in the US.
No. The scanner app is free on every plan, on every device, with no limit on the number of staff phones or tablets.
